The college has the unique credit of its teaching faculty securing state best teacher award declared by Government of Andhra pradesh since its inception.

1. Sri G.P Ramesam:

Late Sri G.P Ramesam received the state best teacher Award in 1980,the year in which the state best teacher awards are introduced by Government of Andhra pradesh .He is the first head of mathematics Dept of the college .He served as principal of this college for over 20 years and he is considered as strong Disciplinarian who has laid strong foundation of the college in administration after late Peddada Ramachandra Rao Principal the predecessor of Sri Ramesam .Sri Ramesam also served as President of ACTA(Affiliated College Teachers Association-AP) .He retired from Service on 10-11-1982.

2. Dr.Balantrapu Syamala Rao.

Dr .B. Syamala Rao received State best teacher award in 1991.He happened to be the First batch student of the college. He served as lecturer in English, Head of Department and as principal Dr.B.Syamala Rao got place in Limca Book of Records and curriculum vitae International “ by securing 11 Post Graduate Degree .He Secured Ph.D for his work on “ Bhavani Bhattacharya”. He retired From Service on 30.4.1995.

3. Dr.P.V. Satya Narayana Murthy

Dr.PVS received Best Teacher Award in 1992.He secured M.Phil for his work “ Composition Algebras” in 1977 and Ph.D for his work on “Valuations of Rational Composition Algebras from Madras University. He is Considered as great Mathematician of the times. He served as lecturer. Reader and Head of Department in the college. He retired from service on 28-02-1998.

4. Dr. P.S.Reddy

Dr.P.S. Reddy Secured State Best Teacher award in 1993. He was awarded M.Phil in 1988 for his work on “ Atreya Natakalu- Poorvaparalu” from Andhra University. And Ph.D from Madras University for his work on “ Telugu Cinema Pata” in 1992. His Work On “ Telugu Cenima Pata “ was published and sponsored by Sri S.P Bala Subramanyam Which was initiated “AATA” conference held in New York in 1992.He served as lecturer ,Reader and Head of the Department and made good contribution to telugu literate and drama And he was convener of the Golden Jubilee Magazine of the College.

5. Dr.R.Ramam:

Dr.R.Ramam Secured State Best teacher Award in 1995 .he was awarded Ph.D for his work on “The Establishment of British Power in the Northern Circars” in 1981 by Patna University. He was a member of the History congress presented many research papers. He served as principal and retired from service on 30.06.2001.

6. Dr.M.V Ramakrishna Rao:

Dr.M.V Rama Krishna Rao Secured State Best Teacher Award in 1998 an d popularly known as Dr.M.R.K.He was awarded Ph.D by cosmania University, Hyderabad for his work on” Economics of Coconut Cultivation, Processing and Marketing in Andhra Pradesh “ in 1985.He served as lecturer in Commerce, Reder, Head of the Department of Commerce and principal of the college. His Contributions in UGC Seminars, National Education Policy and national journals are note worthy. He served as active member of ACTA in Serving the teaching Community in Various Capacities as zonal Secretary and Vice President .of ACTA-AP .He retired from Service on 31-05-2004.He has been Serving as the Director PG Courses (MCA&MBA) in S.K.B.R College.

7. C.V Sarveswara Sarma:

Dr. C.V. Sarveswara Sarma Secured State Best teacher Award in 1999.Sarma is a Popular Science Writer Contributed richly by writing many books on Popular Sciences – His works” Kotha Sakthi Janakalu”,”Sastriya vignamtho vyvasayam “ and “ mana Sareera sampadhalu” got national Awards during 1985,87,91 respectively .The Andhra University has Selected for the post of reader Considering his works equivalent to Ph.D Work Many of his Books were prescribed as Text Books by Various State Government .He has the Unique Credit of organizing over 1100 Science Conferences under his Organizational Banner” Konaseema Science Parishad”.Dr.Sarma got Ugadi Puraskar-2000 From Madras Telugu Academy. He retired from Service on 30-09-2000.
